We were called upon a property in South Auckland to check the blocked drains. Upon inspection, with the CCTV drain camera, we found that there was no natural flow of wastewater without any blocks. This made us conclude that there is some issue with the pump chamber that pumps the wastewater to the drain lines. Inspecting the pump chamber, we found that the pump motor was not working. Because of this, all the wastewater coming from the house was lying inside the pump chamber without going into the drain lines, thus creating a block inside the pipe. Since the motor was old, we replaced it with a new one. Once it started working, all the clogged wastewater began to pump to the sewage line, thus solving the problem.
